Uniform Policy

At Penkridge Middle School we expect all students to be well presented at all times. School uniform plays a critical role in promoting positive behaviour and student discipline. Our uniform standards are key in setting an appropriate tone for student conduct. It instils pride and contributes directly to the positive reputation of our school.

Our uniform also helps protect our students from social pressures to dress in a particular way. Penkridge Middle School has simple uniform expectations. All students are expected to follow these expectations consistently and without question when on the school site and in public areas. The Penkridge Middle School uniform is one of the outward signs by which the local community recognises and makes judgements about the students. It is important for students and the school that the way students present themselves is positive and acceptable and creates the impression of a disciplined and well-ordered establishment.

The unwavering support of parents is vital in ensuring the policy is followed, and high standards are maintained.
